The complex of Solomon Spring, historical garden and National Museum of Kashan is one of the most attractive sites of Kashan. Because of constant circulation of water in pools and ponds, beautiful fountains, cypress trees and the famous bath, where Amir Kabir was murdered, this place always attracted visitors.
This garden belongs 8th century AD, but the present buildings such as baths, central building, front building, Karim-Khan backyard, Fath-Ali Shah Shotor Galou, glazed tile ponds and etc. belong to Safavid, Zand and Qajar era.
The principal building within this garden, as its terraces, was first erected during the reign of Safavid, Shah Safi and Shah Solomon, and later successively completed and complemented by other Safavid rulers, as well as Zand and Qajar.
"Shah-Abbasi" and "Fath-Ali-Shahi" terraces, and also another building called "Karim-Khani" and its bathhouse, are other historical sites in this garden.
Water for this garden is supplied by 7000-years-old Solomon Spring, its life-giving artery. The pleasant sight of its water sprouting from fountainheads by the sole means of differences in level is one of the attractions of this complex.
A museum has been built in one corner of the huge garden and has two sections, archeology and anthropology. A section of the museum is developed to traditions.
