Sabaats: Roofed Streets, Yazd Province, Iran

Sabaats are the roofed alleys and passageways of Yazd.

The main objective behind their construction, was to help the heat stricken passengers coming from hot deserts, cool off in their shade.

Although it enriched the sense of neighborhood among the citizens.
