The Cathedral of the Intercession of the Virgin (St.Basil's)

Apart from the Kremlin, there are also some other historical and cultural monuments, which are inseparably linked to it.

One of them is the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Virgin at the Moat more commonly known as the Cathedral of Saint Basil the Blessed or St. Basil's Cathedral.

Its image, along with the walls and towers of Kremlin is taken as a symbol of Moscow and of the whole of Russia.
