National Museum houses a vast collection of artifacts dating from Neolithic times to Bangkok period. Once used as palace, the complex is made up of several very well-maintained older buildings and is typical of Thai architecture style, popular at the time.

The museum houses a collection of Lanna Thai works of art, ancient Buddha images and war weapons.
Wat Khlong Thom Museum, Krabi
It is situated within the precincts of Wat Khlong Thom, between km 69-70, on Petchakasem Highway, one kilometer from District Office.
The museum features various kinds of artifacts, discovered during excavations within an area called "Khuan Luk Pat", or a bead mound behind "Wat Khlong Thom".
The discoveries include stone tools, stone and earthen ornaments in the shapes of animals and particularly beads from some 5000 years ago.
Thalang National Museum, Phuket

National Museum, Nakhon Si Thammarat
-This houses priceless permanent exhibition of artifacts and locally produced art, including drums, shadow play puppets, hand-woven yan liphao basketry and examples of local folk art.
