In comparison with Kurd population, namakdans woven by them are not numerous. It is specially true about Kurd living in Western regions.

Despite of Low population of Kurd, living in North of Khorasan, in comparison with Kurd of West, they have woven more namakdans.

Most of Namakdans, woven by Kurd of West, are piled weave, which are mostly woven by Kurd of Kermanshah, while most of Khorasan namakdans are flat weave.
