  5th CPC Third Annual Photography Group Competition/Exhibition 2011, NV, Canada
"Caroun Photo Club" (CPC) is going to hold the "5th CPC Annual Photography Salon 2010", in North Vancouver, Canada. "Caroun Photo Club" is a member of the "Canadian Association for Photographic Art" (CAPA).
This Competition is open to the all groups, clubs, associations and individual photographers in Canada and worldwide (International): Professional and Amateur photographers!
5th CPC Annual Photography Competition/Exhibition 2011 is completely different. The competition will be held in two parts, and each part has its own rules and prizes:
1- The First Part is on FaceBook. It’s open to public and anybody could take part. Photos will be judged by the visitors. Winners are the participants, who have the higher LIKEs.
2- Second part is as previous competitions. CPC members could take part. People, who have taken part in the First Part, and other interested people need to register for CPC membership to participate in this part. Photos will be judged by a jury of three photographers, selected by Caroun Photo Club. This judgment is final!

6th International Salon of Art Photography: POKROVA PHOTOVERNISSAGE, 2011
The annual International Salon of Art Photography (a part of the project «Faces of the planet Earth»), that reflects variety and diversity of the world life, its historical and cultural legacy, different lifestyles and cultures.
THEME: 6 sections: OPEN, NATURE, WATER, PORTRAIT, PHOTOJOURNALISM, FOOTBALL (in broad approach). The photos are eligible ONLY in the DIGITAL format.
Exhibition calendar:
Closing date – 20th of August, 2011. 
Judging date – 28th-31th of August, 2011 
Notification – 5th of September, 2011 by e-mail. 
Exhibition – 14th October – 15th November, 2011. 
Catalogue sent – 31st of November, 2011.

4-Nations Photo Contest, June 1, 2011

4-Nations Competitions 2011
CAPA, in association with Australian Photographic Society, Photographic Society of New Zealand and Photographic Society of South Africa isd pleased to host the third Annual 4-Nations Photographic Competition. This friendly event encourages sharing your best photos with fellow photographers from 4-Nations. There is no entry fee to participate in this competition.
Rules of Entry
Each Society will enter 80 images, selected from their membership for this competition. Only one image per individual member is allowed in a nation’s final selection of images, but members may send many images to their country representative to be pooled for final selection.
The topic is OPEN so any subject matter may be submitted.
Deadline for entries from CAPA members:
The deadline for entries to be received at CAPA in Canada from our individual members is June 1st, 2011. Please note, this is not a club competition. Only individual and family members can participate. The top 80 images selected from all entries received by June 1st will be CAPA’s entry for the competition.
All 4-Nations Entries will be sent to Canada no later than July 15th, 2011. Entries will be judged by CAPA Certified Judges.
Awards
Winners will be announced by August 1st, via email to the societies. Winners will receive the following awards:
4-Nations Award: Society that wins the competition
4-Nations CAPA Medal: Individual image scoring the highest points
4-Nations Certificate: Second and Third highest scoring images
Production of Digital Shows
5 digital shows will be created for the 2011 competition and made available for the direct download via FTP or by e-link no later than Sept 30, 2011. One show per nation and one master show combining all 4 countries will be produced. A master score sheet by nation will also be provided to all countries at the same time.

this is a digital event. Per particular attention to the following requirements.
Image File Size: Maximum 1024 pixels horizontal and maximum 768 pixels vertical. Save at 180 dpi or higher.
File Type: JPG or JPEG only
Image must be titled as follows:
Image_Name-Photographers_Name.jpg
Example: Pottery_Woman-Masoud_Soheili.jpg

4Nations2011@CAPAcanada.ca no longer than June 1st, 2011. You may send as many images as you wish for considerations.
Please note that winners provided they agree, will be asked to provide a high quality JPG file suitable for publication in Canadian Camera and may also be displayed on the website of other photographic societies.

  CAPA Pacific Zone Challenge, April 17, 2011
It's an annual photo contest among BC photo clubs; each club could send 10 photos of 10 members.
CPC has participated in this competition. Participated photos and results will be announced:
Ali Ghorbani Shirkoohi, Amir Jam, Ehsan Mahdizadeh, Farhad Varasteh, Farzad Emami, Masoud Soheili, Nafiseh Tabari, Saeid Momany, Sahar Seyedi & Shahriar Davachi
In 2011, 15 photo clubs has participated (150 printed photos). “Farzad Emami”, form Caroun Photo Club (CPC), has won “Honourable Mention”. His work was among the selected works. Congratulation!
