This image is rather dark and too busy. Can barely make out a church window.
I recommend you go out and “practice” seeing clear points of interests, simple subjects at preferable lighting – usually early morning or late afternoon.
Practice makes a master!

The composition works well with the negative space providing a balance with the mass of the building. Compositional detail is enhanced with the way the building detail breaks in places for added visual interest. It is a simple composition that works.
The image-maker could have easily enhanced the detail in the blacks or dark places at top of building and bottom layer of bricks with a curves adjustment. A graduated neutral density filter could have assisted in brining out this detail as well.

Interesting subject. Good composition. However, the exposure was a challenge that the photographer did not master. Too much contrast.
