Well seen and composed. The highlight outside is well diffused. Pay attention to the cropping. With the perspective crop tool the left side and ceiling can be straightened.

The shape of the window is compelling, so it is assumed that is what drew the photographer’s interest.
This image appears to be a documentary shot looking out of the window, made in auto mode. The title does not assist in identifying the objective of the image-maker.
The blackest blacks lack any detail, and most of the whites are blown out.
The photographer could learn some basics of exposure by taking a number of images through a window. One way to achieve this is to take the same image at many different exposure levels. It can also be achieved by combining a series of differently exposed images (through the window) and combining them with HDR software, either Photo Shop or Photo Matix.

Exposure basically well handled with the exterior not too bright. Although detail is visible in the interior, a bit more exposure on the wood would have strengthened the image.
