A pleasing well framed subject. I suggest moving in closer using a vertical format to eliminate the vertical bars on the sides, and the pipe at the bottom. A bit more colour saturation would have helped as well.

Possibly a smaller version of the Lovers Lock phenomena that is sweeping the world, this image suggests a more intimate connection. Cleaning the leaves from the scene would have made the image a bit cheerier. The frame placed around the locks adds some dimension to the image.

Good storytelling in this image----clarity and detail----the viewer feels that the bars on either side were not needed---perhaps a tighter crop would have focused our attention on the lock and not let the eye wander off to either side. |
