The view through a rainy window creates an almost abstract image, where subject is less important than tones and composition. The Sky train tracks act as a lead-in line to the buildings, but these features are not nearly as prominent as the bright area in the upper left.
This bright area results in a very unbalanced composition.

This is a creative use of the train windshield. The image is a bit dark in the lower half and thus confuses us as to the subject matter. Your choice to take the shot on a curve is a good one as it provides a lead in to the scene.

Leading lines take your eye into the centre and detail of the image----the splashes of colour—red/green/blue add an added focal point---nicely presented |
