The photographer has found a colourful house and has made it stand out even more by over-saturating.
Placing the tree against the bright sky was a good idea to improve the composition.

The use of a filter to convert the house was a good one, to emphasize your title. Was it possible to get more of the house, and less of the tree? It competes with the house because of its size for attention.

The viewer can see what the photographer is trying to accomplish here----by picking up the blue façade of the house and using it as a blue art effect on the entire image----this may have looked better with more detail in the sky, as the eye is drawn to that white negative space. |
