Nicely composed with good choice of focal point. Great shot just not enough impact for a strong competition image.

Interesting pattern repetition with some texture. While pattern repetition can be made interesting, the lighting here is too even to add much interest.
Try again at sunrise or sunset to get some light casting shadows across the surface. Choose a depth of field (f16 or 22) that allows the entire surface to be focused. With the current chosen depth of field the image is out of focus at both bottom and top.

What can I say about this image? It’s hand-held, therefore lacks sharpness. A square format would work better. |
