Beautiful window but blown out highlights. Great edges/composition for the sides and top but perhaps a stronger edge/line along the bottom would anchor the image.

Good idea to attempt to make a symbolic photograph, which includes the sculpture in silhouette and the sun. Portrait orientation is good framing choice.
It is not an easy image to make, and the result is some flare from the sun. If that is what is intended, you have succeeded.
The flare above the smaller figure on left side is distracting, as is the small one at very top right side.
Sun detail is completely blown out, so suggest using the smallest f stop possible with camera to see if you can achieve a more interesting sun shape.

As it is presented, this image represents someone else’s artwork. As a result, it has become a documentary statement. Can you take a more ‘artistic’ approach of using the camera? I’d like to encourage you to go out and ‘play’ with different angles and perspectives. |
