Great idea, nice composition. Unfortunately, the light is quite harsh. The red padlock has too much light on the top. Depth of field is very well handled.

Love Locks have made their way around the world. These two are well exposed while the background is diffuse and non-intrusive to the main subjects.
Think about straightening the image based on the bridges in the background and see how you feel about the additional tilt on the post.

Excellent idea with story telling potential. Good complimentary colors. The receding light works well to add to the story.
The pole to which the locks are attached is too overwhelming. Suggest that the photographer use a much shallower depth of field.
Is the bottom third of the image important to telling the story?
