Bird is nicely placed in the picture space. The challenge here is that the lighting is confusing, and inadequate. Need more light on the body of the bird.
More depth of field around the eyes would result in a stronger image. Nice catchlight in the eyes.

Nice full screenshot of the bird here, with a non distracting backdrop. The chest of the bird is in focus, but the eyes and head are soft, and the feathers on our left are clearly out of focus. Use more DOF to overcome this issue.

Interesting representation of the bird. Very close in. Blue background compliments the grey/black of the bird. Interesting catch light in BOTH eyes which is unusal.

Exposure needs to be adjusted to bring up some detail in the breast of bird.
