Great subject, nicely placed in the image space. Unfortunately, the face and head are not sharp. Background is nice and soft.

Photographing one of these iconic animals is both exhilarating, and a bit scary. One needs to be ready for these shots if you are to be successful. That means camera set for the anticipated scene.
As we see here, the Bear is not in focus. Nor is the tonality of the image representative of the animal, both results of camera setting choices.

Exposure of animal is good. Background is nicely blurred because of f-stop chosen.
Image of bear is not focused perhaps because of camera shutter lag, or the image-maker cropping the final photo so tight.
