Very good choice of depth of field to obtain focus on dog and child. An even exposure which allows for light and darker toning.
Good use of leading line up to child. Image needs added contrast to give it more interest; that is to improve on flatness of image. Open up shadows on tree leaves (right side) and underside of porch.
Think of title change… “child with rattle” to allow the viewer to get message quicker.

Can't see the noise (re: title)
- more stillness as the dog isn't reacting
Great composition but could be stronger as a horizontal image (houses behind don't add to the story)
