Wonderful capture of the sparrow, well lit and so nicely sharp.
Putting the sparrow in the centre as the main attraction would have worked much better here.
All the blurry greenery on the left is overpowering and distracting from that beautifully taken bird.

Great capture of a moment, where the bird is singing.
Also technically correct with the depth of field, bringing out the bird from the background.
However, the branch competes for the main subject and bringing down the highlights on it would thus bring out the bird.
A slight sharpening of the eye would also strengthen that focus.

A lovely Song Sparrow singing. The light is soft. We can see detail in the feathers and there is a glint in the bird’s eye. The bokeh is fabulous – well done.
Catching the bird singing gives us a good story. The cedar branches are not distracting, as the bird’s body lines up with the main branch, adding interest.
Well done.
