Very interesting bird to capture. Nice muted background and position, eye beautifully captured and its sharp enough.
The black areas of the bird have lost all detail and bringing out the shadows just a bit might help.
Also using a noise reduction filter on the background would make the entire image look nicer and bird pop out even better.

Beautiful portrait with great depth of field that really brings out the subject in its environment. The eye is nice and sharp and has great colour to draw attention. The beak also is a great highlight.
I think there is detail in the neck feathers and they could be brought out along with a brightening of the breast.

This Spotted Towhee is well caught, sharp with lovely bokeh. There are a few leaves on the right for interest.
The curved perch adds a nice graphic detail. We have lost a bit of detail in the blacks around the bird’s head.
