Interesting character, good story and pretty sharp image overall.
Rather than relying on the title to tell the story might have been more interesting to show more of the surrounding of the coffee house and further evoke that feeling of old age loneliness.
Or a closer crop from waist up could also work as an interesting portrait.

Interesting and strong portrait that is telling a story. Great technical capture of the person as well.
Cropping off the top would strengthen the image as it doesn’t add anything and distracts the eye.
I would also look at cropping at the elbow and through the table, which would direct the attention to the face, and maybe slight crop to the teapot as well.

The author has spotted an interesting face for this portrait.
The table and dishes add interest, but the subject has been caught in a slightly awkward moment looking off-camera.
The subject is sharp, and the background is relatively clean. There is a slightly bright line on the right edge that could be eliminated.
