Manzar Mohammadi

Iran, 2004

Frida Kahlo is an artist, whose works cannot be understood without awareness of her complicated life.
Her life was full of physical and psychological pains, internal conflicts and external difficulties, all of w2hich are reflected in her paintings.

Some have called her works Surrealism, others Symbolism. But, all agree that she had a unique personal style, and even though compared with her contemporary Mexican artists, her works appear Primitive, she reveals a pure and poetic style that is unique.
