Lady of the Animals: Prehistoric Figure

The Figure of "Lady of the Animals" has existed in the art of all old societies. This figure reveals the relation of the feminine force of goddesses, as the protector of animals and and the creator pf loving creatures, to animals.

The Lady of Animals also known by other titles, such as "Mother Goddess", "Great Mother"... points to the complexity of primitive religions.

Apparently such figures date from the Paleolithic, but reaching its peak from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age.

A review to this figure, and its relationship with the feminine force and mother goddess and goddesses from many lands along with the animal that symbolizes it, dates back to the Paleolithic, Old Europe, Chatal Huyuk and Minoan Crete.
