Self-taught cartoonist who has been drawing since 1970

Founder/editor and publisher of the independent Iranian monthly cartoon magazine "Tanz-O-Caricature" (Humor & Caricature), since 1990

His cartoons have been published in leading international newspapers and magazines via C&W Syndicate in 80s and 90s.

Member of the international "Cartoonists and Writers Syndicate" and the editor of international "Witty World" cartoon publication

He has worked in various genres within cartooning, such as, caricatures, black caricatures, editorial, black humor, comic strips, sports, surrealistic, gag, philosophical, and the unique 4-D humor (cosmic comics and relativistic humor, which is still unknown to the world!).

Awards:
one national prize! and twenty international prizes in France, Italy, Japan, Korea, China, Sweden...
among them: First Prize in Caricature at the Anglet Festival (France 1990) and a Silver Date of Bordighera (Italy 1996) and at Tolentino and Yumiori and Taejon

Jury:
He also served as member of different cartoon festival juries including the Skopje (Macedonia) Cartoon Festival in 1986, Anglet (France) in 1991, Dubai in 2002, and the Tehran Cartoon Biennials in 1992, 94, and 96 and other local cartoon festivals.
