Behnaz Alipour Gaskari award wining writer and researcher was born in Guilan .
She received a PHD in Comparative Literature Study in 2009.
At present, Behnaz is teaching in Azad and Payap-e Nour Universities.
Her literary criticism and research articles (around 60) have been published in numerous literary journals. She won the statue of Sadegh Hedayat prize for The best Literary Criticism in 2003.
Works:
1- BOGZARIM… (Forget it...) is a collection of short stories, published by Cheshme Publishing in 2004. BOGZARIM has won three awards : MEHREGAN ADAB Prize as the best collection of short story in 2004, YALDA LITERARY PRIZE and PARVIN ETESAMI PRIZE IN 2005. She uses various modern techniques in her stories. Her works mostly deals with feminine world and their inner and outer problems. The main her stories themes are like identity, alienation, frustration, anxiety, social environment, the cultural forces and individual sensitivity…
2- WOMEN IN NOVELS is a research book that talks about women situation in Iranian novels from 1921 to 1978.
3- khabha-ye na-tamam (Unfinished Dreams), Cheshme Publishing, 2009
4- SIMIN DANESHVAR AND ANITA DESAI, A COMPARATIVE STUDY, is a research book which treats with structural analyze and feminist criticism approach.
