Studied with his father, likewise a painter.
He has always sought magical sight to be found in painting. He began as a figurative painter, with sideward leaning towards surrealism and moved over into non-formalism abstract.
His employment of in-formalist elements seems to have had a cabalistic and esoteric side to it.
He has lived for several years in France, Netherlands and Germany.
