I have been photographing seriously since the late 1990's and have been a Canadian Association for Photographic Arts (CAPA) judge since 2006. We have a traditional Black & White wet darkroom. I enjoy portraiture, macro (especially flowers), wildlife and abstracts.
We started the "Darkroom Group” in our home in December 2009, a CAPA club with 17 members. We focus and analogue photography and alternative photography methods from the 1800's.
I am an American Orchid Society Awards photographer for five BC orchid societies. My images are published monthly in newsletters of orchid societies in the US and Canada and published in orchid journals.
7 of my images were published in the "Orchids" magazine between February and May 2014.
I am currently publishing a 2015 Orchids calendar - I have orders for 270 so far. I did not realize it would be so popular.
