He was invited to Minneapolis College of Arts and Design as an artist.
He organized group exhibition of Iranian artists' works, to be circulated in the USA, sponsored by the Grey Foundation.
1962:

Group exhibition at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis. One-man exhibition of ceramic sculpture at the K. B. Gallery, Minneapolis. Participated in Comparison 63 at the Musée d'Art
1964 Returned to Iran; began teaching sculpture at Tehran University. Built a foundry and workshop for Tehran University, funded by the Grey Foundation. Participated in the 32nd Venice Biennial. Built a new studio and foundry called the Atelier Bronze.

He organized the first exhibition of sculpture by Tehran University students, inaugurated by Her Imperial Majesty Farah Pahlavi.
He participated in Shiraz Festival with "Group 5".
1968:
Parviz married with Manijeh Bahmanieh and he moved into the Niavaran studio.
1969:
Two-man exhibition with Karl Schlamminger, Iran-America Society, Tehran
He installed his first contemporary sculpture at Pahlavi University, Shiraz.
1970:
Individual exhibition of bronzes, Iran-America Society, Tehran
First traveling exhibitions of sculpture in Shiraz and Isfahan.
His daughter "Tandis" was born.
1971:
Visiting artist, Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota
He installed on campus eleven-foot, stainless-steel hitch sculpture
Individual exhibition of bronzes, Martin Gallery, Minneapolis.
He made the bronze gates for the tomb of Reza Shah, in Rey.
His second daughter "Tondar" was born.
1972:
He installed his first outdoor sculpture in Tehran, in front of the "City Theater".
1973:
Individual exhibition of hitch bronzes,Iran-America Society, Tehran
He founded "Tehran Rug Society".
1974:
He wrote catalogue of "Lion Rugs" for traveling exhibition throughout the United States and Canada of his collection of rugs, woven by Qashqai Tribe, the tribes of Fars province in southern Iran.
He participated in 8th International Sculpture Conference, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, and he had a lecture on his sculpture.
1975:
He organized the Tehran Rug Society's first exhibition, Tribal Animal Covers in Iran; gave series of lectures in Iran and USA on tribal rugs of Iran
His son "Bardia" was born.
1976:
He installed an outdoor steel sculpture in the new city of Farah-Town, Senegal, donated by Iranian National Television and unveiled by Her Imperial Majesty Farah Pahlavi and Sedar Sengor, President of the Republic of Senegal.
Individual exhibition of bronze sculpture, Iran-America Society, Tehran
He wrote a catalogue with John T. Wertime for traveling exhibition throughout the United States of the Parviz Tanavoli Collection of pre-lslamic to early 20th century Iranian locks.
