Lovely portrait well focussed, good depth of field and excellent contrast between foreground and background colours. Nice change from spectacular tai feather spread. The only thing that bothers is one long blade of grass at the bottom. Is out leading out, or maybe leading in?

A sharp well detailed and well exposed image. The natural gradient blur of the background placing this Peacock in its habitat yet blurring the background enough to simplify the image is a great use of Depth-of-Field.
The colours are fairly accurate. The composition is also well handled for this species. Most long necked birds can be difficult to compose well.

Splendid colour, fine details, well done in harsh lighting…….There is too much negative space around the subject at top and left side. The grass stems at bottom are a distraction.
