Kudos for trying something different. A good diagonal and lovely golden tones in an overall moody photo. I am most intrigued by the glow in the water from its golden head. and the tiny fry swimming away. Would it be against rules to get rid of all those dust flecks on the water?

Actually “Two Koi in Muddy Waters”. The second fish is a little distracting but acceptable but it could be fixed up in post processing. Nicely composed on the diagonal.
The maker should try to enhance the blacks a little and could saturate the orange colours a little also. Do not over-do it and also only adjust those levels on the main fish. This would make the main fish pop a little more and would create more separation with the other Koi.

It is muddy water, but this makes the fish a bit abstract. The highlight colours are interesting and different……There could be a little more space in front of the fish, so it appears to have space to swim into. Its called implied motion.
